Born in Kaohsiung Taiwan in 1976, Pohan holds a graduate degree in Business Management from State University of New York, currently resides in Toronto, Canada. Prior to fully devoting to artistic creation, he had 14 years of experiences in marketing and product development. Pohan’s work cannot be defined by conventional photography. He intends to seek and record all the human emotions and to explore streams between conscious, subconscious and unconscious to rock one’s mind. Pohan draws inspirations from his thorough understanding to music, literature, and collective memories. His primary style of creation can be described as abstract and surreal.

“Music as Muse”(2014) and “Intervening Variables”(2015),had won 7 international awards including but not only International Photography Awards First and Second Prize, Mosco International Photography Awards Second and Third Prize. His series “ “ is now under the collection in National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
