Russian artist, Alexander Zakharov is recognized as a master in miniature painting. His miniature works are painted in acrylic and he brings us to see vivid colors and details of the original miniature painting after applying a unique method of magnification to enlarge his paintings. He does not hesitate to try innovative printing technology to achieve the best quality of his limited editions of print in large copies.

Alexander believes there is an inner child inside of everyone, in his recent artworks Alexander started incorporating dialogs with children and childhood accessories into the paintings. His miniatures hope to achieve bringing viewers back to their childhood where all the treasures are within their pockets.

When he starts creating a stories, he left adulthood’s burdens behind and enters a bubble where life becomes meaningful and the good always prevail, it is a world without loneliness and cynical thoughts.
