Wai Hong’s is trained in classic Chinese ink painting, her extraordinary use of the brush manages the subtle nuance of the ink. Her unique touch paints magnificent forests but not compromising in any detail. Her artworks well fit into the local culture yet breakthrough the confined boundary of traditional subjects. Different from classic painting of ladies emphasizing in illustration the beauty of woman body, she paints femme items in fine details: lingerie, heels; she leads fashion with her ink and outlined the glamor of lace and body. Her feminism is throughout her creation with characters. Wai Hong current resides in Paris.
